Tonight's debate is historical, but let's hope it won't become hysterical...
Hillary Clinton versus Obama - the Heavyweight versus the Contender...maybe they should play the theme from Rocky when they both enter the stage...

Political Cartoons: Rudy's Regress
Rudy Giuliani may just have made a tactical blunder by putting all his focus on Florida...
...and if so, then thank goodness he won't be our next Commander in Chief!

Dirty Tricks Brigade - Obama & the Flag
A lot has been made about this picture of Obama not holding his hand over his heart in front of the flag. His critics wrongly assert that this is happening during the Pledge of Allegiance. Actually, the photograph is taken during the singing of the National Anthem.
Go over to Snopes and watch the video. He’s the only politician who is actually SINGING the National Anthem! Have the rest of them forgotten the words???

Tsunami Saturday in South Carolina
Obama blasts apart Clinton and Edwards.
The Old Guard is about to change.
Obama 55% Clinton 27% Edwards 18%
Perhaps Bill should get behind Hillary instead of the microphone.
Can things change? Yes, they can!

Political Cartoons: Sequel or Re-Run???
So what's the great Clinton plan for 21st century, post 9/11 America?
Take us all back to the Roaring Nineties...
Take us all back to the Roaring Nineties...
Wake Up, America! We Live in a PC (Post Clinton) World!
No matter how much we want to deny it, 9/11 changed everything. If we think that the stale political ideals of the 2Oth Century still apply today, then we may as well change our name to the Republic of Rip van Winkle. Hillary Clinton is a tired rehash of the nineties, which she is still living in.
Her ideas for the 21st century? She wants to take us Back to the Future.
Hillary and Bill are a Boomer fairy tale just wanting to relive the Nostalgic Nineties. The good ol’ boy and his missus want us to believe that when he was president, we lived in the Good Ol’ Days. What a bunch of bunkum and baloney!
Think about it, folks. Do we really want to go back to turning the Whitehouse into a lair of liars who polarized the country?
Do we want to abandon our mighty military to the decisions of liberal lawyers who hog tied our forces at Mogadishu and see Black Hawks tumbling down?
Do we once again want a leader who has an international terrorist in his sights, but chooses to let him go, only to see the bloody fanatic orchestrate the destruction of the World Trade Center?
Are we once more going to see the Whitehouse filled with lobbyists and donors, corrupt cronies and elite sycophants who feel as though they’re entitled to rule over the people?
And do we really want to see Bill not having sex with interns and desecrating the Whitehouse as his own playboy mansion? If we do, then we want a reality show instead of real leadership.
Wake up, people! We live in a PC (Post Clinton) world! Do we want chains or change? The Clintons will chain us to their nostalgic, dynastic, 20th century past. It’s about time that we the people and voters cast them aside and moved on into the future. We live in the 21st century after all!

The Voice is Back on the Air
Knoxville's best darn political radio show is back on the air next Monday. Just in time to stir things up in the local elections, Llloyd Daugherty and Kelvin Moxley will be getting behind the silver microphone to broadcast their incisive and ascerbic views on local politics. The Voice returns to the airwaves, Mondays through Fridays for two hours at 10.00AM on WQBB 1040AM.
The Presidential election process will also come under their scrutiny and guests like Frank Cagle will add to the tantalising conversations and political entertainment.
For the past year, Knoxville has been without the words, wit, and wisdom of the Voice. Come Monday 28 January, all that will be rectified.
As usual, listeners can call in to the show. The new number is (865) 656-1040.

Political Cartoons: Saudi Sword Dancers
While the American economy is heading into a recession , partly due to high oil and gas prices, President Bush is sword dancing with the Saudis.

Political Cartoons: Two Can Play at That Game
The Clintons have either upped the ante...
...or they're seeing Obama's call.
Hillary Clinton is endorsed by a black billionaire, but Obama has already beaten her to it!

Political Cartoons: Hillary Canute
Can Hillary turn back the tide of public opinion and ride out the sea of change? Will Obama dethrone her? New Hampshire is critical to the Clinton Campaign, make no mistake about it.
Tomorrow we'll all know if the Clintons can stem the tide or if they should change their name to Canute.
