Sarah Palin: What's the difference between a hockey mom and a pitbull? Lipstick.
John McCain: Dear friends, let's work to heal the differences between hockey moms and pitbulls. I will reach across both groups in a bi-partisan effort to put our country first. My friends, there should be enough lipstick in this great country of ours, so that both hockey moms and pitbulls can make America great again.
Barack Obama: There is no hockey mom nation. There is no pitbull nation. We are all lipstick wearing Americans who share a hope for the future, so that all our children and puppies can make this world a better place. Lipstick is not for the elite or something that fearful people in small towns get out when the going is tough. Lipstick is what has made our country great and something that we can take out into the world to bring about peace between all hockey moms and pitbulls.
Joe Biden: What's the difference between a hockey mom and a pitbull? Hillary Clinton would make a better choice.

Can a Political Machine Beat a Popular Movement?
John McCain is going to use the same tactics. He’s going to highlight his experience against Obama’s. He’s going to use the same old entitlement speeches that Hillary tried to employ. The GOP will use the swift boats of anti-patriotism accusations against Obama that have proven unsuccessful. He’s going to use the old party political machine methods against a popular movement. McCain is going to lose.
You see folks, what we have here is something that doesn’t happen very often in elections, but it has the potential of creating a tsunami against anyone who opposes it. People want change. People want their politicians to change. People want their politics to change.
I saw this happening in Britain when Tony Blair was elected Prime Minister. People wanted change so badly that they stampeded their way to the ballot boxes and the Labor Party won by a landslide. Nothing could stop the popular movement. Nothing could stand in its wake. Nothing could compete against the people being motivated.
If the Democrat party nominates Hillary Clinton as their candidate, then the Democrats will be in the wilderness for a whole generation of at least 15 – 25 years. A young, zealous generation of voters will have their hopes dashed and their dreams burned. They won’t ever forgive the Democrats for damaging their hero.
The Republicans are also facing a tidal wave. John McCain cannot even raise enough people to buy tickets for a dinner in Texas. The people in the know already believe he is a loser, and that’s just amongst the Republicans. You can’t beat a popular movement, not even if you pull out a prisoner of war as your nominee. What happened in Louisiana and Mississippi a couple of weeks ago is not a blip – it’s the first wave of a tsunami.
I could be wrong in all of this, but it feels so much like Blair’s landslide victory in Britain all those years ago. I know America is a different nation, but this is a popular movement and no matter how experienced, sophisticated, and well oiled the political machine may be, it just cannot win.
So, for what it’s worth, here’s my prediction. Obama gains the Whitehouse in ’08 and the Democrats increase their seats in the House and Senate substantially. The old notion of checks and balances no longer prevails.
Of course, this all depends on what the Democrats do about Hillary on Saturday. If they screw that one up, all bets are off.

The Next Obama Spiritual Scandal: the Oprah Connection
Just when he thought that the road to the Whitehouse was safe, his one-time political partner, Oprah Winfrey, is beginning to create another theological storm for Obama.
Recently, the TV icon of superficiality has gotten herself involved with a New Age guru, Eckhart Tolle, and has begun toting his revolutionary ideas of re-hashed transcendental meditation on her website. Not since the Beatles went to India in the Sixties, has a major celebrity ever used their popularity to spiritually misguide a large part of the population. At a recent online seminar, two million Oprah devotees enthusiastically allowed themselves to be cybernetically brainwashed to what Oprah calls “a new awakening and a shift of consciousness across the planet.”
Eckhart Tolle promotes these meditational techniques in his book “A New Earth.” Everybody in the world needs to transform and follow this current wave of New Age spiritual mumbo-jumbo. According to Tolle, "A significant portion of the earth's population will soon recognize, if they haven't already done so, that humanity is now faced with a stark choice: Evolve or die."
This smacks of spiritual elitism and harps back to the days of Nietzsche and Nazism.
So, how will this become another albatross around Obama’s neck? When the mainstream faiths begin to feel threatened by this spiritual dabbling of the Queen of superficiality, and when Obama’s opponents are looking to tag him with yet another controversial connection. It seems like he has made another awkward judgment call.
If I was to make a prediction of when this will happen, I would say sometime in early April…

Is Hillary Clinton part of an elite New World Order cult on Capitol Hill?
Throughout it all, Hillary Clinton has been silent about Obama’s unfavorable faith connection. One wonders why.
Rumors abound in Washington, that Hillary is part of a secret, elite, progressive faith group who acknowledge Jesus, but refuse to call themselves Christians. It is rumored that they respect Christ’s teachings, but this elite group of liberal sophisticates really worships power. Are their studies more in tune with assertive, progressive leadership rather than true devotion to Jesus? Is she part of a New World Order group that seeks to use Christ’s messages as a means of ruling the world? Or is this all a conspiracy theory, just gone wild?
So, where does Hillary regularly worship on Sunday mornings and just who is her pastor? If Obama is being castigated because of his public association with Jeremiah Wright, then the same standards should be applied to her. So, go ahead CNN, New York Times, and ABC, do some equitable journalism for a change, and find out for the public whether or not Hillary is part of an elite Bible study group called “The Family” on Capitol Hill, and whether or not this is ushering in a New World Order that should make us wary. After all, what’s good for one side should be the same for all sides.

Reality of Lent
The Democrat turnout yesterday was phenomenal...

...if that repeats itself in November, there's going to be a landslide. Maybe Republicans should burn their playbook now.

Political Cartoons: Hillary Canute
Can Hillary turn back the tide of public opinion and ride out the sea of change? Will Obama dethrone her? New Hampshire is critical to the Clinton Campaign, make no mistake about it.

Tomorrow we'll all know if the Clintons can stem the tide or if they should change their name to Canute.

Chain Mail Setter
2008 election? More like the 1008 draft!

Tom Tancredo says he will attack the holy sites in Mecca & Medina. With Obama sending troops into Pakistan, perhaps these two should get together and form the Third World War Party!
